You'll feel the wind whipping through your hair as you speed over the surface of one of Central Florida's many lakes near Orlando Entertainment on a jet-engine-powered airboat at Boggy Creek Airboat Rides or Glades Adventures High Performance Airboat Tours. Don't let down your guard for a second-those big eyeballs you see at the surface of the lake belong to a wild alligator and they say every inch of its snout equals a foot in the gator's total length.

Even if they're hiding in the wild, you're guaranteed to see plenty of gators at Gatorland, the self-proclaimed Alligator Capital of the World. If you're really adventurous, check out the view from 2,000 feet at Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding Flight Park. You'll be towed into the sky by an ultralight airplane, then released to find your own air currents to glide. The folks at Wallaby say there's no need to worry-there are no rocks or power lines on the property. Piece of cake!
